On June 29th, the 2023 (10th) China Antimony Industry Annual Conference was held in Guiyang, Guizhou. The conference was hosted by the Antimony Industry Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and co hosted by Guizhou Dongfeng Antimony Industry Co., Ltd. Leaders from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and representatives from over a hundred units across the country, including antimony production enterprises, consumer enterprises, trade enterprises, and research institutes, jointly participated.

Qin Shidun, General Manager of Guizhou Dongfeng Antimony Industry Co., Ltd., was invited to give a special report on "Analysis of Flame retardancy Knowledge and Development Prospects of Antimony". He pointed out that in the current era of increasing national safety awareness, the country attaches great importance to the development of the flame retardant industry. Bromine flame retardants, with antimony as a synergistic agent, are still an irreplaceable and important component of the flame retardant industry, and will continue to be optimistic about the development and application of antimony in the flame retardant field.
